Membership Terms & Conditions:

  • Our memberships are a recurring subscription of two allocations per year, April & August.

  • E-mail notifications with allocation details, shipping dates, and deadlines will be sent twice prior to billing your card on file. It is the members’ responsibility to confirm and/ or update their shipping address, credit card information, and account profile.

Shipping/Pick Up

  • Members are responsible for all shipping charges incurred due to misdirected, returned, and/or reshipped orders.

  • Pick-up allocations receive a 60-day complimentary hold from the date of release. If not picked up within 60-days, allocations are automatically processed for shipment, fees may apply, and will be charged to the card on file.

Cancellation/Skip Policy

  • A minimum of two allocations is required prior to cancellation.

  • Cancellation requests must be made via email at least two weeks prior to the allocation processing date.

  • Members who have met their minimum commitment may request to skip up to two consecutive allocations. Releases will automatically resume after the skip has occurred.

How much does it cost to join?

There is no cost to join.

How do the benefits work, when do they begin?

Depending on the membership level you join, you will receive a number of complimentary tastings, 20% savings on all bottle purchases, free shipping on all orders of 12+ bottles, invitations to events, and access to library wines. Your benefits begin as soon as you join.

How often will I be billed?

You will be billed twice per year, April & August. (Unless you purchase wine at our winery, online or by phone)

How long does my membership last?

Your membership lasts as long as you would like it to. We kindly ask for a 1-year [2 allocation] commitment when you join.

How will I know when I have been charged?

You will receive two email notifications, one 30-days prior and one 5-days prior to the billing of your allocation. These emails will notify you of the allocation selections, cost, and add-on options. Releases will ship or become available for pickup 1 week after billing.

Can my membership benefits be extended to someone else?

We encourage members to bring guests with them to enjoy complimentary tastings and 10% off during their visit (members do have to be present in order for guests to take advantage of benefits). Your membership benefits only extend to the person on the account and their spouse/partner. Memberships can be gifted to friends and family for specified periods of time. 

How can I make changes to my membership account?

Members have complete access to their personal account information through the San Juan Vineyard website.

What happens if my shipment is sent back to the winery?

The shipping service we use will make three delivery attempts before returning the wine to us. If the wine is returned to the winery, we can reship the order at the standard rate. We suggest that you provide an address that will assure you receive the delivery, such as a place of business, with someone over the age of 21 present to sign for your order.

What if I end up with a corked or damaged bottle?

In the unlikely event that a bottle arrives damaged or corked, please notify us as soon as possible and we will replace the damaged merchandise.

If I choose to be a “pick-up member,” how will I know that my wines are available to pick up?

All pick-up members will receive an email notifying them of the allocation. The pick-up party is an opportunity for you to sample the wines, pick up your shipment, and enjoy the benefits of being part of our membership. If you are unable to pick up your release after 60 days, we will conveniently ship the wine to you. 

Can I have someone else pick up my release?

Yes, you can have a friend or family member pick up your allocation. Just be sure to send us an email or give us a call with the name of the person, so we can make a note on your account.

Can I skip releases?

Yes! Members can skip a maximum of two consecutive allocations. Longer durations require cancellation.

What is the cancellation policy?

We hate to see you go, but if you wish to cancel your membership, we ask that you give written notice two weeks prior to the next allocation processing date. If we do not receive timely notice, you will be required to accept the current allocation.

What address should I use for shipping?

We suggest that you provide an address that will guarantee you receive a delivery, such as a place of business, with someone over the age of 21 present to sign for your order.

How do I find out what is included in the upcoming release?

You will receive an email notification 30-days and 5-days prior to billing, letting you know the wine selection.

Can I customize my allocations?

Our 12-Bottle membership is completely customizable, and our 6-Bottle members are always welcome to add additional wine to their allocations.  Updates can be made by logging into your account, or by emailing us at membership@sanjuanvineyard.com at least 1 day prior to billing.

What is the delivery process?

Our default shipping method is via UPS ground (1-7 business days). An adult 21 or older must be present to sign for the package upon delivery. If you would like to make adjustments to your shipping method or date, please email us at membership@sanjuanvineyard.com.

Can I increase the number of bottles in my shipment?

You bet! Members receive 20% savings on all allocations and free shipping on 12+ bottles. You will receive an email notification 30-days and 5-days prior to billing with the option to add-on.
